Parents who have Experienced Trauma May Need to Learn How to Nurture

Domestic violence, neglect, poverty and substance abuse are concerning issues in our society that are interrelated. Parents that have been subjected to such violence are at risk of imparting harm and trauma on their own children.

Working Together We Can Stop the Cycle of Trauma

These problems will continue to cyclically impact further generations unless society intercedes.  Parents who have experienced early trauma need enormous support and education before and after the birth of their child to be able to provide nurturing ways of parenting.
