For Babies, None of the Senses is More Important than their Sense of Touch

Holding babies snugly and creating some compression replicates what they experienced before birth and makes them feel reassured. If you roll up your sleeve you will soothe them with the skin-to-skin contact. It is the perfect time to make eye contact and talk to your baby.

Being Overly Gentle Might Make Baby Nervous

Babies learn that their bodies are valuable through your touch. Baby massage, baby yoga, cuddling, and bouncing games are giving baby a positive message.
