Follow Along and Massage Your Baby in Real Time with RMT Amie McColl

An upbeat and clearly demonstrated approach for full body baby massage, this is a full-length instructional video, 45 minutes in length. Typically, instructional videos explain something, demonstrate briefly, and then move on. This video shows an instructional session in real-time that parents or other caregivers can view while doing actual massage with their baby.

Promotes Connection, Improves Sleep, Relieves Colic

Learning to do baby massage is a bit like learning to cook – when you read various recipes you get a good idea of the essential aspects of the recipe and can then modify the recipe to work for you. We feel that a parent/caregiver who watches all of our baby massage videos will come away with a high level of competence and confidence about baby massage. This video is excellent for someone who has taken a class and cannot remember the steps or techniques. It is also ideal for those who cannot attend a class as it guides through every step, providing helpful hints. For example, we sometimes talk about “learning to read a baby’s cues”. This video provides details on what those cues look like and what they can mean. E.g., when a baby thrusts out their belly, they want to have their belly massaged. When baby arches their back and turns away, they don’t want a massage right now.

We encourage you to learn from your health professional if the recommendations in the videos are right for your child. Healthy, loving touch is one of the most important factors for infants to grow and thrive.
