It Can Be a Surprise to Learn How Much Babies Really Understand

Psychodynamics is the process of observing parent-infant interactions and helping parents realize that their baby feels the parents’ emotions and warmth. Babies may not understand words but they understand tone of voice and they respond to emotions.

Interpersonal Interactions Can Be Used to Construct a More Comfortable Environment

For example, parents who calmly interact with their baby before bedtime can have an impact on their baby’s ability to sleep.  Warm parent-infant interactions significantly affect a baby’s development.
