For the first time, scientists can study down to the molecular level to enhance their understanding of how genetic strengths and vulnerabilities are modified by experiences.

How Environments and Genetics Interact

We are born with a genome (a lifelong unchanging sequence of DNA), however the packaging of that DNA can be changed by our experiences, both positive and negative, so that some genes contained within the DNA are expressed or not expressed.
