Like many non-profits, we at KIDCARECANADA find that we are eternally thinking about funding issues. That is why we are so grateful to four prominent members of the community who generously shared their time and talents with us.
We want to thank Calvin Fong, Director of Donor Services at the Vancouver Foundation, Carol Henriquez, Founder, Arts Umbrella, Jack Serlin, Financial Advisor at Echelon Wealth Partners Inc. and John Stubbs, President Emeritus at Simon Fraser University (seen in the photo above).
All four participated in a panel discussion with our board members, moderated by Phil Ohl, CEO Leader’s Edge, who also donated his time. The lively discussion provided our board members with specific advice we have taken to heart and are now following up on.
