How to Bathe a Baby – New Video Trailer

Bathing a newborn is a new experience for parents and, like learning anything new, it requires practice. Many new skills will feel uncomfortable at first but after a short time you will gain confidence with repetition. As you begin to feel more comfortable, your baby will sense it and they too will relax and enjoy the encounter. Bath time then becomes a time for bonding and enjoyment for the infant, parent and family.

The KIDCARECANADA series of “How to Bathe a Baby” videos can help you understand this process.  Families bathe their babies on camera as they interact with professionals and share a range of insights and approaches. The content is reflective of today’s parents and the current research.

We have created a new video trailer that introduces the series, explaining how to make bath time a safe, fun and nurturing experience. The trailer highlights each topic: “From Scary to Soothing”, “The Ideal Time to Connect with Baby”, “Safety First”, and “From Top to Bottom”.

We hope the trailer encourages you to view the complete KIDCARECANADA series where you — and others who care for your baby — will learn valuable tips for making bath time a safe, fun and positive experience for all involved.
