We are delighted to welcome Kristina Verruyt as an advisor to KidCareCanada Society. Kristina brings to this role broad experience in many aspects of communication and a rich First Nations and Dutch heritage.
Kristina is the Shaw TV Legislative Bureau Chief. She is the Producer and Director of Voice of BC, Shaw TV’s weekly public affairs program. Voice of BC gives British Columbians the opportunity to hear from top politicians in B.C. and across Canada, as well as leaders in the academic and business communities, in a balanced and thoughtful forum.
Kristina’s heritage is Dutch and Maliseet (from St. Mary’s First Nation in Fredericton, NB). She has considerable and varied experience supporting First Nations communities, and a history of volunteerism at many levels.
We feel fortunate that Kristina is willing to apply her personal qualities and skills and professional expertise to our work. We believe it is a great match and look forward to working with her.
