Board member, Dr. Tisha Gangopadhyay, is a registered psychologist. Her main job (aside from being the mother to two young daughters) is working with young offenders through the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
Tisha joined KidCareCanada in 2010 and serves as Vice-president. In her professional work, Tisha has seen the adverse effects caused by the absence of early nurturing. She wants new parents to have the tools to nurture their children and give them the best possible start in life.
Tisha also has a private practice in which she works with both adolescents and adults presenting with a range of mental health concerns. Her specific interest is working with mothers and daughters, helping them navigate through the turbulent years where daughters are trying to assert their independence while mothers are trying to stay connected with their teens.
