KidCareCanada Society mourns the sudden death of Dr. Clyde Hertzman, Director of Human Early Learning Partnership (HELP) at the University of British Columbia, inspirational leader and world-renowned expert in early learning. The work of Dr. Hertzman and his colleagues underlies our mission – to translate current research so that it is accessible to all new parents and those who support them. Under Dr. Hertzman’s leadership the link between early childhood development and mental and physical health throughout the lifespan has become more widely understood and researched.
