Is There Reason for Optimism for my Child with Cerebral Palsy?

Systematic accommodation has long been the accepted approach for an infant or young child with a neurologic disability. A new way of thinking may be required. Logic would indicate that if an adult can recover from a stroke, a young child with CP might have a second chance as well.

At-risk Does Not Mean it is a Definitive Thing

As the young brain matures, it can recover, but the habits of systematic accommodation may hide the true potential.
