Vancouver Native Health Society. The Phil Bouvier Centre recently welcomed our team, including camera and crew. New parents and their beautiful babies interacted with Dr. Andrew Macnab on and off camera. Footage from the film shoot will help other new parents recognize their all-important role, and what they can do to raise healthy and happy children. Great news! We have been recognized by the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine, Social Accountability and Community Engagement (SACE) for our “outstanding commitment to the health and wellbeing of British Columbia’s children and youth”. Our proposal: “Many voices one song”: A partnership to promote parental skills and confidence” has been funded. We are partnering with Vancouver Native Health to develop a new module for all new parents.
